adidas Originals Unveil Abbey Road-Engineered Studio in Manchester

adidas, Co-op Live, and Abbey Road Studios have just launched the 'adidas Originals Recording Studio' at Co-op Live in Manchester. The unique space aims to support the local community and nurture emerging musical talent. Engineered by Abbey Road, the studio provides a creative hub within the UK’s largest music arena, offering artists the tools and resources to kickstart or advance their musical journey.

The studio has been engineered by Abbey Road’s leading technicians and sound engineers, and features state-of-the-art equipment which combines time-honoured techniques with modern innovation to deliver optimum sound quality. With access to on-site experts, the studio also ensures artists are supported by a range of experienced professionals, providing valuable guidance and expertise to elevate every session.

The space will open to the public in August, kicking off with an exciting collaborative project featuring Co-op Live and Abbey Road’s 'Amplify' and 'Equalise' programs, alongside Factory International’s 'Factory Sounds' scheme.

The three initiatives are all about supporting and empowering the next generation of musical talent. Abbey Road’s programs focus on diversity and inclusion (offering mentorship, workshops and industry insights to help up-and-coming artists, producers and creatives thrive) while 'Factory Sounds' takes it a step further by providing financial support, performance opportunities and additional mentorship to overlooked groups in Greater Manchester's music scene.
